When Scotty Butler needs a piece of equipment, he usually needed the piece yesterday. The APAC supervisor says that construction projects often require additional equipment that wasn't originally planned for or even anticipated.

And then there are breakdowns, when the broken piece must be replaced so the job can progress.

"The rental department of Power Equipment has been very good to work with," Butler says of APAC's relationship with the equipment supplier. "The rental department is one of their strongest points and (renting equipment) is an important part of our business."
