One of many companies
Old River Cabinets is the most recently formed of 11 companies under the VPM Companies umbrella. Most of the companies relate to construction, including masonry, excavation, home building and site management companies. As the first VPM company to sell directly to consumers through a retail model, Old River Cabinets has evolved considerably from its initial form and has necessitated a steep learning curve.
Within the Morrissette family there is prior experience with cabinetmaking and the operation of a lumber mill and cabinet shop, but all of Victor and Lee's formal training in the cabinet industry has occurred since the company was founded. Victor still considers himself an old "brick-layer by...
