Willamette High School will hold its commencement ceremony Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the school's Wolverine Stadium.

Admission will be by ticket only.

Speakers and vocalists for the commencement program will be selected from the class membership.

In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held in the East Gym.

A baccalaureate service will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at Bethesda Lutheran Church. The service is open to the public.

Twenty-one students qualified for recognition as WHS Top Scholars by achieving a GPA 4.00 or above. They are:

Kiana Brands is the daughter of Joni Brands-Hammel and Brian Brands. She will graduate as a candidate for a full International Baccalaureate diploma. She is a member of National Honor Society and also of the Triple Achievement Club. She worked with the Link Crew and participated on the dance team. She plans to major in psychology at the University of Oregon.

Geovany Carcamo, son of Jaime and Mercy Carcamo, will graduate with an honors diploma. He is a member of the Triple Achievement Club, was a Link leader in 2007, member of the National Honor Society in 2007 and 2008, and a 2006 member of Future Business Leaders of America. He participated in DECA and served as chapter secretary and vice president, served as the senior class president and earned the title of Mr. Wolverine in the Children's' Miracle Network pageant. He intends to major in marketing and advertising at the University of Oregon.

Crystal Enos is the daughter of Richard and Marlene Enos. Graduating with an honors diploma, she has participated in the leadership class for four years as freshman class secretary, sophomore class vice president, junior class president and currently as student body president. She is a member of the National Honor Society and of the Triple Achievement Club. She has been a three-year member of varsity swimming and varsity tennis teams. She was a senior coordinator for the Mr. Wolverine pageant, supporting the Children's Miracle Network. She plans to attend George Fox...
