Byline: The Register-Guard
North Eugene High School will hold its graduation ceremony June 14 at 3 p.m. at the school's Swede Johnson Stadium.
The featured graduation speakers will include Derek Duman, associated student body president, and graduating seniors Sarah Demoran and Nathan Willie.
A baccalaureate service will be held June 8 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.The featured speakerswill include Diane Downey, North International High School English instructor, and Rebecca Rund, graduating senior.
The North Eugene High School North Scholars Program has replaced the traditional valedictorian and salutatorian recognitions at graduation. North Scholars are nominated and selected by the staff. The seven seniors to be honored at graduation are Julie Adams, Brian Conklin, Jessica Dowdy, Derek Duman, Vivek Patel, Karly Welty and Tyler Woodke.
Adams, daughter of Tom Adams and Laura Adams, plans to attend George Fox University with a Stevens Academic Achievement Scholarship, preparing for a career in nursing. She was vice...
