Ultimately I hope that a better understanding of the publication process will provide encouragement to those of you who have important things to share with the school counseling community, but find publishing a mysterious and inaccessible process.
Peer review is the standard for major scientific and professional journals. Peer review means that experts in the profession review submitted articles and offer opinions about the quality and relevance of the content. The purpose of peer review is to ensure that articles meet high standards for quality, and relevance. The experts who conduct the reviews for this journal are the members of the PSC Editorial Board.
