...locations Moines, Iowa, had carried a pet jewelry line, Meche, for several years. After our buyer had discussed the idea of a trunk show with Meche's owners, I was put in charge of the event. I am a registered jeweler. Sales are my usual responsibility and sterling silver jewelry is my main responsibility. Event planning certainly wouldn't be my forte, I thought.

But I knew this could be an important event for our store. Josephs is an active part of the community and therefore we have a responsibility to give back. This idea seemed like a natural.
