While thousands of festival revellers descend on the world famous event during the last weekend of June, the town of Glastonburywill be open for business with its weird, wonderful and fascinating shops and attractions to enjoy.

This week the founder of the Glastonbury Festival, Michael Eavis, joined Mendip District Council in encouraging everyone to consider a trip to the historic town, made famous by its links with King Arthur, Joseph of Arimathea and King Henry VIII.
