One of the more unusual development projects on the drawing board in Eugene this year is a combination ministorage/spaghetti house/single-family dwelling proposed at Second Avenue and Polk Street.

The plan, proposed by Budget Taxi owner Denise Guelld, involves jacking up an old single-story house, constructing a restaurant underneath it, then setting the house down on top of the restaurant. The concept also includes building two separate ultra-ministorage facilities on an adjacent lot.
