"Yeah, sweetheart, I know exactly how you feel. I've been feeling the same way, too, but most the time I don't even want to talk about it for fear that it will just get worse. When we're busy, I can handle the stress, but when things get slow like this I don't know what to do. Maybe it's just temporary and we can weather the storm like we have in the past, but if it continues this slow we are going to have to take some drastic steps. I've never seen it like this," Bob says, shaking his head slowly as he stares at Cathy.

In a effort to break the gloomy mood, Bob looks up at Cathy and asks, "How about lunch?" She says, "Sure." Then both get up and walk through the front lobby, telling Barb, their CSR, that they will be back shortly.

As Bob and Cathy climb into their car, Cathy says, "Gee, it is just so frustrating. I know that after 25 years in business, I've gotten this feeling before and it has usually resolved itself, but this time with all the negative talk about the economy, I'm really getting scared." Bob once again nods his head in agreement as the couple drives off to their favorite lunch spot.
