Mexican and Caucasian couples' perceptions of marital satisfaction were investigated with regard to agreement on decision-making power, length of the marriage, and type of society. Marital satisfaction was assessed by the love scale, which is comprised of several items that are included within the Marriage and Relationship Questionnaire (MARQ) (Russell & Wells, 1993).
