Why are you an AAJ member? I have been a member for nearly 28 years. Like so many of you, I decided to join because mentors and colleagues convinced me that membership afforded a unique opportunity for professional development. They were right. AAJ has been a vital force in my career.

Professional associations build communities of people who share a common belief and vision. AAJ was formed more than 60 years ago by attorneys who believed as strongly then as we do today that people injured by others' wrongdoing should have a fair chance to obtain justice, even when taking on the most powerful interests.
