Thin kerf cutting blades

Thin kerf cutting blades incorporate a thinner saw body and carbide teeth that are significantly thinner than the typical saw blade. About the thickness of a dime, a thin cutting blade produces a kerf that is directly related to the resistance of the cut. Less kerf requires less power consumption and is easier while pushing stock through the blade. This safety feature makes thin saws appealing. In addition to reduced power consumption, the most significant cost saving consideration is the increase in yield, especially for multiple narrow gang-ripping of composite materials and wood products.
