...physician in this case who, after making the initial incision into patient's uterus, allowed a third-year resident working under his supervision, to make the incision across the uterus. What had been characterized as an "urgent" C-Section went from urgent to an "emergency" C-Section, before the resident made such a deep incision into the patient's uterus that the patient's baby girl was delivered with a two inch scar on her forehead as a result of the resident cutting too deeply into the uterus. The patient's physician was held responsible.
