North Eugene's Crescent Avenue is about to get another new occupant - or five.

Excavation and site work is under way for a 7,972-square-foot retail building at the southwest corner of Crescent and Suzanne Way, a couple of blocks east of Coburg Road.

Dan Montgomery, a principal broker with Western Properties of Eugene, said Tuesday that the building's owner hopes to lease one storefront to a restaurant and two to four other spaces to retail or office tenants....
