As the number of foreclosures grows, it seems that the use of auctions to sell real estate is growing as well. Should you use the auction method to sell your property?

To answer that question, we will examine some aspects of auctioneering that will help define reality from myth. The subject has become more relevant these days in part because of so many news reports about high-volume home builders who are using the auction method to unload inventory that will not sell using conventional methods.
