Kaye Allen
Kaye Janis Allen of Eugene died Jan. 31 of a stroke. She was 74. No service is planned.
She was born Jan. 2, 1934, in Minneapolis to Donald and Alma Fridberg Torell. She married Dorial Mickelson in 1954 and they divorced in 1957. She married Richard Ehrsam in 1959; they divorced in 1966. She married David Allen in 1967; they divorced in 1975.
She completed high school and took continuing education courses. She worked in market research and tax accounting.
Survivors include two daughters, Krista Allen of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Robin Charles of Portland; three sisters, Sharon Richardson of Minneapolis, Linda Miller of Lady-smith, Wis., and Cindy Vitucci of Chicago; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her daughter, Robin, subsequently died Feb. 6, 2008.

"Betty" Hildenbrand
Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Hildenbrand of Eugene died Feb. 20 of age-related causes at age 87. A graveside service was held Feb. 26 at Sunset Memorial Park in Coos Bay.
She was born May 6, 1920, in New Liberty, Mo., to Guy and Willie Young Lasater. She married Gerald "Jerry" Hildenbrand on Sept. 14, 1939.
She worked in the retail field for Sperry & Hutchinson in Coos Bay and was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Don of Eugene, and a sister, Maxine Braulick of Coos Bay. Her husband died previously.
Arrangements by Coos Bay Chapel. Remembrances to the Alzheimer's Association in Eugene.
