Harald Kleinschmidt has edited a volume on three highly topical and intertwined issue areas and has managed to bring them together into a cohesive whole. This is no small coup given the complexities of drawing together different chapters into a broad theme. Whilst the edited volume does not give insight into the motivations for the publication it is clear that the authors have been selected for their expertise in the area of migration studies. This edited volume manages to turn a collection of individual essays into a flowing and relatively complete whole, which is a task that many such volumes fail to do....
