Question: We've heard there's a new Oregon law that allows employees to take time off work to attend court hearings. What are the specifics?

Answer: You are referring to Senate Bill 610, a victims' rights law amendment passed by the Oregon Legislature during the 2003 legislative session and made a part of the civil rights laws in Chapter 659A of the Oregon Revised Statutes.
