Marietta Campbell
COTTAGE GROVE - A memorial service will be held March 2 for Marietta Campbell of Cottage Grove, who died Feb. 27 of cancer. She was 49.
Campbell was born Jan. 5, 1955, in Cottage Grove, to Gene and Anella Martin Campbell. She graduated from Cottage Grove High School in 1973 and received an associate's of science degree from Lane Community College in 1975. Campbell was a licensed tax consultant. She was employed with Zeller and Co. for 28 years.
Campbell loved spending time with family, traveling, attending church, University of Oregon sports, photography, camping and working with Habitat for Humanity. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Cottage Grove and the London Grange.
Survivors include her parents; two brothers, Scot and Crew Campbell, both of Cottage Grove; three sisters, Sue Sturgess and Jan Clack, both of Creswell, and Vivian Hoppe of Cheshire.
Tuesday's service will be at 2 p.m. at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove. A private family burial will follow at Bemis Cemetery in Cottage Grove.
