Trial lawyers have an adventurous spirit, and that spirit was in high evidence this fall, when a delegation of 76 AAJ members and their guests traveled to China to learn firsthand about the Chinese legal system.

The October trip took in more than just tourism sights. Its purpose was to give American lawyers a close look inside a legal system that is struggling to keep pace with China's rapid economic and cultural growth.
