CASE FACTS: On February 3, 1999, Blossom and Abraham Cohen filed suit against Humana Medical Plans, Inc. (Humana), Dr. Mark Freeman and his professional association, and Dr. Raphael Rodriguez and his professional association, and Family Medical Center, Inc. (Family Medical). The suit alleged medical negligence by Drs. Freeman and Rodriguez, which resulted in injury to Mrs. Cohen. The Cohens ultimately withdrew their claims against Dr. Freeman's professional association, Dr. Rodriguez' professional association and Family Medical.
