Potential home buyers who don't qualify for traditional financing are the targets of a new local company that offers a different twist on the rental home.

Beverly Hills-based Marketplace Homes L.L.C. goes after the self-employed, those with limited credit history or those with poor credit, such as a past bankruptcy.
