EL PASO, Texas - The media finally caught up to South Florida's Ben Moffitt Friday afternoon during a Sun Bowl luncheon at the Judson F. Williams Convention Center.

Until then, according to a member of the Bulls' sports information staff, Moffitt had been on a self-imposed media blackout ever since the 21st-ranked South Florida football team arrived in El Paso on Wednesday.

No offense, reporters were told, but Moffitt, a first-team all-Big East linebacker and humble to a fault, just didn't want to tell his story again. And again. And again.
