AARP offers safety course for drivers 50 and older

The AARP Driver Safety Program will offer driving classes at several locations in January.

The driver refresher course is designed for motorists 50 and older and is intended to help older drivers improve their skills while teaching them to avoid crashes and traffic violations. Auto insurance companies, in most states, provide a multiyear discount to AARP graduates.
