DEXTER - Three people were stuck outside overnight when their sport utility vehicle bogged down Thursday in the mud flats near Lookout Point Lake, about 22 miles southeast of Eugene.

Two men and a woman, Elijah Sheffler, 20, Evan Walley, 22, and Shalysa Bryant-Martinez, 18, all of Eugene, were four-wheeling in a restricted area when their Mazda Navajo got wedged in the mud near the Signal Point boat ramp, said John Miller, Lane County sheriff's search and rescue coordinator.
