After reading a column you wrote on burnout, I realized why I wanted to quit dancing. My body was completely out-of-whack from taking 20 dance classes a week. I kept getting weird low-grade fevers, felt exhausted but couldn't sleep, and made stupid mistakes in class. I followed your advice and took no dance classes for a whole summer, except for a couple of floor barres a week. I felt like a new dancer--at first. Now my body is starting to fall apart again. I'm only taking three classes a day and have the weekend off. Help!
