The executive director of the Minnesota Association for Justice (MAJ) told me recently that the American Association for Justice's two-day workshop on communication changed his organization. In fact, MAJ did not have a communications director before the session, and it might not have hired one without guidance from AAJ and leaders of state trial lawyer organizations (TLAs) in developing a comprehensive communications plan.

He spoke of the positive coordination between AAJ, which helps craft pro-civil-justice messages, and his state organization, which then adds local flavor. "We're all in this together," he aptly noted.
