Gloria Baehr
A celebration of life Mass will be at noon Dec. 4 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newport for Gloria Baehr of Yachats. She died Nov. 10 of age-related causes at age 76.
She was born Nov. 15, 1927, in El Paso, Texas, to James and Anne Ballentine Holmes. She married Pete Baehr on June 11, 1950, in El Paso.
She graduated from Texas Western College at the University of Texas in El Paso with a degree in journalism.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Ginger Harville of Silverton, Judy Earl of Newport and Linda Baehr of Yachats; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be private.
Remembrances to the Nestucca Sanctuary in Pacific City.
Rosalee Canaday
A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Crow Church of the Nazarene for Rosalee Canaday of Gridley, Calif., formerly of the Lane County area. She died Nov. 26 of lymphoma at age 56.
She was born Jan. 20, 1951, in Drain to Sylvester and Alita Wooley Canaday.
She attended college and worked as a gas station manager.
