Brady Leaf's college football career might be over.

Wednesday, Oregon coach Mike Bellotti said the senior quarterback definitely would not play Saturday against Oregon State. But he also said Leaf is "questionable for the bowl game," because his injured right ankle might require surgery.

Leaf suffered what was initially diagnosed as a high ankle sprain last Saturday at UCLA, adding to a sprained left ankle the week before at Arizona. But the Ducks had hoped and expected Leaf to be recovered by late December, in time for a bowl game.
