Incidents

FRIDAY, NOV. 16

Shots fired: 1:29 a.m., 900 block Kruse Way. A caller reported hearing what sounded like three gunshots south of the area.

Theft: 4:56 a.m., 1300 block R Street. Stereo equipment was reportedly stolen after a vehicle was broken into.

Criminal mischief: 9:27 a.m., 6400 block Forest Ridge Drive. A caller reported that someone lit a fire in the garage of a home under construction. The caller said he found cigarettes in the home and was concerned that the house could have burned down.

Vicious dog: 10:39 a.m., 1500 block B Street. A caller reported that an aggressive pit bull was outside her home and she was unable to get to her car. The dog eventually left and a report was sent to the animal control officer.

Burglary: 3:58 p.m., 700 block Prescott Lane. A homeowner reported a burglary after arriving home to find property had been rifled through. The caller reported the suspect entered through a rear window.

Fight: 11:58 a.m., 1800 block South A Street. An employee of a local bar reported that a large fight was quickly growing out of control.

SATURDAY, NOV. 17

Theft: 8:50 a.m., 5900 block Mount Vernon Road. A caller reported that his vehicle had been broken into. Miscellaneous property was...
