Lecture - "What Everyone Should Know About Grief." Register at Adult Activity Center. The holidays are a difficult time for anyone who has experienced a significant death or for those who wish to support others. Learn more about focusing on a new approach to grieving styles that helps facilitate a better understanding of grief. Presenter is Korene Pearson. 1:30 p.m. Free.

Friday, Nov. 30

Douglas County Christmas Fair - Day trip for ages 50 and older. Register at Adult Activity Center. 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. $27.

Kids Club - All-day program for No-School Day. Register at Community Recreation Center. For students kindergarten through fifth grade. $35.

Friday Matinee Movie - "The Queen," at Adult Activity Center. 1 p.m. Free.
