Current crude oil prices are reaching record highs, and Alaska North Slope Crude Oil has passed the $80 mark for the second time. If that weren't enough to worry consumers (but please Alaska oil producers and positively impact the Alaska economy), the dollar is becoming weaker as well: the U.S. dollar will buy less in Europe than ever before.

So how much does a barrel of ANS crude cost in Euros? C58.32, as it turns out. If you were to buy a barrel of ANS crude in Britain, it would cost you 40.62 [pounds sterling]. In Brazil, you would pay 152.80 reals for a barrel, and in China you would pay 616.74 yuan.
