The recent Super Bowl in Houston prompted all types of questions about Detroit as a host city in 2006. Media types wondered aloud: Will there be enough hotel rooms? What will we do? Are there enough restaurants and bars?

Well the last one is easy: Yes, and the number is rising. In fact, several new restaurants have opened in the past few months, including Karras Bros. Tavern at 225 Jos. Campau.
