CANNES, France, February 24 /PRNewswire/ -- - Software Performs Over-the-Air Updates and Configuration of Mobile Devices

Motorola today introduced the Device Management System, its newest technology for operators to update and configure mobile devices over the air. The technology -- developed by 4thpass, a Seattle-based Motorola subsidiary -- gives operators power to remotely repair software on handsets and other devices, change settings and services on a subscriber's device in real time, and to enable new applications and services on mobile devices.
