Penny Danford had been a Delta Air Lines flight attendant for less than two years when the September 11 terror attacks shook the air transportation world.

"Delta offered in October 2001 a leave of absence for one to five years to all flight attendants, and I took advantage of the five-year leave to be with my family," recalled Danford. "I enjoyed traveling and the customer service aspect of the job, but in November 2006, when I had the opportunity to return to my job, I decided my passion was to continue working at TempStaff and make a difference in people's lives."
