Family makes big difference with many Leading Business Women.

A firm foundation set in place by a strong family leads to greatness. Several women who made the list of this year's 50 Leading Business Women hailed from such large families that eight members of the Class of 2007 have 54 siblings between them.

Defying the odds and overcoming financial woes, three women have doctorates and four have law degrees. They describe themselves as resilient, loved, compassionate, generous, dynamic and blessed. They said growing up with many siblings taught them to be strong--and to draw on the strength of others.
