QED Connect Adds YMCA of Greater Syracuse to Rapidly Growing Customer Base
- Omni Manager Provides Comprehensive Internet Security For Six YMCA Locations -
NASHUA, NH - October 31, 2007 - QED Connect, Inc., (otc: QEDC) an innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider for the information security market, today announced the addition of YMCA of Greater Syracuse to its rapidly growing customer base. Omni Manager will be deployed on computers across six YMCA locations serving Central New York and surrounding areas. In addition to Omni Manager's asset management and Internet filtering, monitoring and reporting capabilities, the YMCA will also benefit from Kaspersky 6.0 anti-virus software, a QED partner offering and one of PC World's 100 Best Products of 2007.
"We had security software from one of the major vendors in place and replaced it with Omni Manager because it offered much more features and value for the price," said Phil Kreuzer, Director of IT for YMCA of Greater Syracuse.
