Donna and I were very close. We talked every day. As a child growing up everyone loved to be around Donna and she was always doing something silly. Once when her father was stationed over in Alameda aboard the Enterprise we couldn't find Donna. Donna was small and hadn't even started school yet. Near the Naval base there was a place called Camp Parks where a flock of sheep roamed. We looked everywhere for Donna and finally found her curled up asleep in the grass along the fence line. She had been watching the sheep and fallen asleep.
