CORVALLIS - In the `other' Pac-10 game being played in the Willamette Valley today, Oregon State and UCLA offer up a battle for firsts in a 3:37 p.m. kickoff at Reser Stadium.

Alone atop the Pac-10 standings at 2-0, the Bruins (3-1 overall) will attempt to stay there against OSU (2-2, 0-1).

Winless against UCLA in eight previous meetings - four as an assistant coach at USC and four more as head coach of the Beavers - Mike Riley seeks that initial triumph over the Bruins.
