It was the mother of all shows Friday night in Eugene when the Hult Center officially celebrated its 25th birthday.

The house was packed and so was the stage at the Silva Concert Hall. All eight of the Hult resident companies performed in the Hult's 2,500-seat main hall in a program that included music, dance and theater.

Tickets for the show were free but were snatched up within hours last week by patrons eager to see the Eugene Ballet, Eugene Concert Choir, Eugene Opera, Eugene Symphony, Oregon Bach Festival, Oregon Mozart Players, the Shedd Institute and Willamette Repertory Theatre - all on the same bill.
