They are here again, like clockwork, seven years and six days later.

You better enjoy today, Duck fans, because at this rate ESPN College `GameDay' will not be back in Eugene, shining its bright national spotlight on all things spruce green and lightning yellow, until 2014.

Oregon head coach Mike Bellotti will be 63. Quarterback Dennis Dixon will be 29 and who knows where? And the Duck mascot himself probably will be serving a long sentence up the river for doing who knows what to some poor, unsuspecting mascot.

Beware Oski the Bear.

Speaking of which, will `GameDay' analyst Lee Corso don a Duck head or a Bear head this morning as the two-hour live national pregame show of previews, highlights and analysis wraps up from the edge of Alton Baker Park about 9 a.m. before today's big football game between No. 6 California and No. 11 Oregon at Autzen Stadium?

Corso, of course, would not say Friday what his prediction of the game will be when he chooses that mascot head this...
