CORVALLIS - At least nobody wasted any words.

Opportunities, yes. Possession of the football, surely.

A chance at a victory? Oh, that, too was certainly lost by Oregon State on Saturday as UCLA scored 28 points in a span of exactly seven minutes of the fourth quarter for a 40-14 romp over the Beavers before an announced turnout of 41,137 in Reser Stadium.

"I don't know where to start with this one. Anybody got any ideas?" OSU coach Mike Riley offered up to reporters. "We disintegrated."
