...Duchesne took action. 2005, she launched a company called Mediaclip Inc., Montreal, Quebec, Canada (www.mediadip.ca), which provides consumers with an easy way to create and buy a wide range of photo products from retailers.
"I began working with a leading software house in Montreal," Duchesne says. "In the next 18 months, we developed the first version of our photo book application and launched it with [major grocery store chain] Loblaw's Canada in late 2006, working with Fujifilm Canada. During this time, we also developed our Clip Producer, a backend solution that allows for the production of the products, centrally or through a distributive network. We also integrated with Rimage in 2005, and began producing DVDs for Loblaw's."
