At press time, the Durham, N.C.-based company just signed its 42nd school, the University of Tennessee. Replay Photos partners with 39 Division I-designated schools, two Division II schools, and one Division III school.
Athletic accessibility
Replay Photos founder Sue Harnett didn't aspire to be an entrepreneur.
She has always loved sports and developed a real connection with Duke University in Durham, N.C., where she was an All-American basketball player for the school. Harnett played on a scholarship for the Duke women's basketball team from 1986-1991. Sidelined for a year due to knee injuries, she played her fifth year as a graduate student while receiving her Master of Healthcare Administration in 1992. After that, Harnett played basketball in Belgium for one more year. Then she found her way into a hospital administration internship in Pennsylvania, utilizing her master's degree.
When the New York City native was recruited for a job in Durham in 1994, she took the opportunity to move back to her college town, and worked as a hospital administrator...
