Beverly Bulkeley
Beverly Stead Bulkeley of Roseburg, formerly of Cottage Grove and the Elkton area, died July 29 of cancer at age 75. A celebration of life was held Aug. 18 in Roseburg.
She was born Oct. 30, 1931, in Cheboygan, Mich., to Lloyd and Pansy Stead. She married William Bulkeley on Dec. 31, 1954, in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.
She graduated from Pellston High School in Michigan. She worked as a secretary at Oakland High School and at First Conservative Baptist Church in Roseburg.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Douglas of Eugene, Kevin of Boise and William of Fort Worth, Texas; and four grandchildren.
Arrangements by Wilson Chapel of the Roses in Roseburg.
LaVada Chambers
JUNCTION CITY - A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, at Glenwood Christian Church in Eugene for LaVada Lee Chambers of Junction City. She died Aug. 29 of cancer at age 66.
Chambers was born Sept. 25, 1940, in Delta, Colo., to Newton and Eunice Vier Myers. She married Victor Chambers on Aug. 30, 1983, in Springfield.
She attended Springfield High School. She later earned a general equivalency diploma and an associate's degree in accounting from Lane Community College. She was a homemaker and day care provider.
