For more info about TEWW: http://www.realpennies.com/indepth/look.php?company=TEWWTitan Energy Worldwide (OTCBB:TEWW) announced today that its subsidiary, Titan Energy Development, Inc., delivered one Sentry 5000 mobile utility system to Wayne State University for a two year multi-fuels testing program sponsored by the Michigan 21st Century Jobs Fund. Titan Energy Development is the manufacturer of the Sentry 5000, a system that allows for mobile deployment and supports emergency power generation, water purification, satellite voice and data communication, emergency area lighting, space conditioning (heat or cooling), and offers 50kW+ additional power capacity.
As part of the multi-fuels testing program, Titan and its partners (National Automotive Center, US Army, NextEnergy and Wayne State University's Center for Automotive Research) were awarded $2.3 million to complete engine testing on the Sentry 5000 with different fuels including: ultra low sulfur diesel, bio-diesel, and a synthetic diesel manufactured by the US Army as part of its assured fuels program. The Sentry 5000 will operate daily in Detroit on NextEnergy's alternative fuels platform for the next 24 months. Titan's goal for its participation in this program is to become one of the only manufacturers to warrant a flexible multi-fuel capable engine generator package.
Thomas Black, President of Titan Energy Development, Inc., stated, "The knowledge we will obtain by being part of this program over the next 24 months will be extremely valuable and help us deliver better products suitable for a wider range of uses. Our goal for the military is to prepare a standard operating and maintenance procedure for the prime mover in the Sentry 5000 package.
