Golfers teeing off caught young Sydney Mann's attention one day.

As she eyed the golfers, the St. Charles girl thought it looked easy enough - that is until she tried it herself.

"As curious as I am, I wanted to know how you can hit a ball really far," the 10-year-old said.

Now Sydney's curiosity takes her from one hole to the next -and from rough to rough - with other young people.
