The patriotic spirit will prevail in DuPage County as several churches celebrate the Fourth of July holiday with fun, food and song this week.

The festivities will kick off at 9:30 a.m. Sunday with Naperville Baptist Church's annual Star Spangled Spectacular at the church, 29W771 79th St., Naperville.

The service is filled with music, costumes and many patriotic touches, including parchment-printed programs with the Declaration of Independence.
