Oil and gas producer Hess Corp. said Tuesday 2007-06-26 it has suspended drilling at a deepwater well in the Gulf of Mexico because of drilling rig inspection requirements.

The company said it plans to resume drilling at its Pony No. 2 well, on Green Canyon Block 468 in late September.
