North Eugene High School's 48th annual commencement will be June 9. The featured speaker will be Brian Mortemore, associated student body president. Also speaking will be graduating seniors Audrey Butler, Janae Schiller and Tony Lemmon.

A baccalaureate service will be Sunday with featured speaker Clair Wiles, School of IDEAS teacher. Also speaking will be graduating seniors Alyssa Cagle and Heather Spickard.

Thirteeen seniors, nominated and selected by the staff as North scholars, will be honored at graduation.

Audrey Butler, daughter of Craig Butler and Dina Harmon, plans to attend the University of Puget Sound with a President's scholarship. She will major in international and political economy. She attends Eugene International High School and is a full International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate along with being an Honors Diploma candidate. She was active in drama and the National Honor Society.

Alyssa Cagle, daughter of Jon and Cheryl Cagle, plans to attend the University of Oregon and major in mathematics. She was vice president of the National Honor Society.

Aubrianne Carson, daughter of Ken and La Chel Carson, will graduate a year early and spend a year as a Rotary exchange student to Slovakia. She...
